Lash Extensions

FAQs

How long do lash extensions last?

With proper care, lash extensions can last 2–3 weeks before needing a fill. Shedding is natural—on average, we lose 2–5 natural lashes per day, and extensions fall out along with them.

What is a lash fill?

A lash fill is a maintenance appointment where grown-out extensions are removed and new lashes are applied to bare natural lashes. To qualify for a fill, you must have at least 40% of your lash extensions remaining.

  • 1-Week Fill: Within 7 days of your last fill

  • 2-Week Fill: 8–17 days after last fill

  • 3-Week Fill: 18–25 days after last fill

  • After 25 days: A full new set is required

Do lash extensions damage your natural lashes?

When applied and maintained correctly, lash extensions do not damage your natural lashes. Damage is typically caused by poor application, rubbing, or improper aftercare.

Can I wear mascara with lash extensions?

Mascara is not recommended, especially with volume or hybrid sets. If necessary, use only extension-safe, water-based mascara on classic sets—and never waterproof formulas.

Can I get lash extensions if I have sensitive eyes?

Yes, but be sure to let your lash artist know in advance. A patch test can be done to check for any allergic reaction to the adhesive.

How long does the appointment take?

  • Full sets take approximately 1.5 to 2.5 hours, depending on the style and lash type.

  • Fills typically take 45–90 minutes.
