How to Prepare

Since delicate skin or sensitive areas may swell slightly, or redden, it is advised to not make social plans for the same day.

If you are very particular please bring your preferred eyebrow pencil.

Avoid electrolysis within five days of the procedure. Refrain from any hair removal methods for one week after. If you normally dye your eyebrows, do not schedule this treatment within 48 hours before or one week after the procedure.

Avoid using Ibuprofen or aspirin for 7 days before your procedure. If you use Retin A, Renova, Omega 3s, Tretinoin, or lash growth products (e.g., Latisse), stop using them four weeks before and one week after the procedure

If you’ve had injectables or fillers (e.g., Botox, Juvederm, Restylane), deep chemical/medical peels, or laser/IPL treatments, please wait one week before getting permanent makeup

Lips Specifically:

If you have a history of cold sores, fever blisters, or mouth ulcers, the procedure may trigger a recurrence. We recommend obtaining a prescribed antiviral medication from your doctor or dentist before your procedure to help prevent an outbreak

What to Expect

Your permanent makeup appointment is a multi-step process designed to ensure precision, comfort, and long-lasting results. Here’s what you can expect during your visit:

1. Consultation & Design

We’ll begin with a detailed consultation to discuss your goals, preferences, and any previous PMU history. Together, we’ll choose the shape, style, and color that best suits your features and desired outcome. Your input is essential!

2. Mapping & Pre-Draw

We will map and pre-draw the shape directly on your skin, allowing you to see and approve the design before any pigment is applied.

3. PMU Procedure

Using a sterile, single-use needle, pigment is carefully implanted into the skin. This process may take 1–2 hours depending on the service and the area being treated.

4. Aftercare Instructions

Once your treatment is complete, you’ll receive detailed aftercare instructions to ensure proper healing and pigment retention. Following these guidelines is crucial to your results.

5. Healing Process

Initial healing takes about 7–14 days, with full results visible after 4–6 weeks. Some flaking and light fading during healing is completely normal.

6. Book Your Touch-Up

A touch-up appointment is typically scheduled 6–8 weeks after your initial session to perfect and reinforce the final result.
